When it comes to hair care, people suddenly assume that branded products in the market are their only option to healthy hair. The more costly the product, the better the result. This statement cannot be more wrong. The products you buy for your hair or hair growth always contain some chemicals or other elements that carry several side effects with them. Sulfate and Silicone are the most common culprits. Both are found in almost all shampoos and conditioners out there. You have to actually dig for those which do not contain these two or their derivatives.

Choosing shampoos which do more harm than heal is another problem which’s unawareness is really common.
What is in your shampoo?
Apart from Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) and Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES), there are many common ingredients which you need to avoid at all cost. These include Polyethylene Glycol, Diethanolamine (DEA), Triethanolamine (TEA) and several others. These elements extract all the moisture from your hair and resulting in dry and dull hair. They cause hair fall, irritate your skin, make your hair limp and lifeless, cause an allergic reaction to your skin. They also block the natural oils from being absorbed by hair.
